Chan Chhorvy Sok
Chhorvy brings a wealth of more 20 years working experience on socio-economic development and good governance reform programs across donors and government in Cambodia. She brings a breadth of practical, and field base experience, as well as high level policy advisory and management experience from both government and development cooperation and civil society organizations on good governance reform programs, social sector development and women economic development. Chhorvy has rich experience and knowledge cross-cutting issues such as “gender equality and women’s empowerment, social protection, decent work and gender base violence and active citizenship.
Through her senior government official roles and as a senior focal point on various national reform programs Chhorvy has led and directly engaged in the national and sector policy development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation on major national government reform programs and policies including: Public Administration Reform (PAR), Public Financial Management Reform Program, Subnational Democratic Development, CMDGs, Poverty Reduction Strategic Plan, Socio-Economic Development Plan, Governance Action Plan, the National Strategic Development Plan.
Passing through at least 4 wartime regimes since 1970s has motivated Chhorvy to work for the course of social justice and women empowerment toward gender equality and good governance. Chhorvy has a strong believe that everyone should have equal opportunity and equal treatment in the society – they can make their decision to live with the informed choice. She kept moving for her believe and dream
