Nirnita confesses to be a self-proclaimed geek and spends her free time in, reading any new book she can get her hands on or debating societal ways with her family, friends and strangers.
Influencing meaningful change
Passionate about enhancing sustainability in the global economy and reducing inequities and exclusion through private sector accountability, Nirnita is proficient in partnership building, stakeholder engagement, brand management, and targeted communication towards promoting responsible business. As she puts it, “The financial sector plays an increasingly vital role in the lives of poor people around the world. Fair Finance Asia, through its very structure, provides an avenue for building an enabling environment for positive discourse and policy actions on responsible finance for sustainable development, both nationally and at the regional level.” This is the reason that she is most excited about her work.
