Sameer Man Singh

Sameer joined OXFAM in January 2020. He has over a decade-long experience in delivering environment and development communications solutions for multilateral organizations including the UN World Food Programme, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN Asia), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Winrock International and SNV. A keen advocate for the environment, he also worked as a radio journalist in Nepal. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University and a certificate in Effective Inter-Cultural Communication from the National University of Singapore.
Telling stories: For Sameer, Joining the TROSA programme has been a sort of 'homecoming'. As a university student, he aspired to orient his career towards becoming a water resource management professional and based his thesis on pollution in Nepal's transboundary rivers.
"It feels great to be part of OXFAM and the amazing TROSA team, and to be able to tell stories of the inextricable relationship between people and rivers, and its ebbs and flows."
Sameer is based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
