Saveun has long involvement in education field and NGOs work through teaching at various private and public universities and holding many leadership positions within several local and International organizations. His focus areas include education, youth, community development, volunteer management, program development and management, capacity building, non-profit management, and social work practices. Academically, he holds a Master of Social Work " specializing in Policy and Administration Practice and B.A in Intenational Relations.
Within Challenges, lie Opportunities
Having been in Civil Society sector, Saveun directly worked on the ground dealing mostly with direct services delivery related to education, health and community development while at Oxfam his work focuses on policy and advocacy focus and influencing through partners. It is a big new challenge moving on from direct service delivery sector to advocacy and influencing sector; however he believes that within challenges lie opportunities for learning and growth. He is currently working with and supporting different NGO partners in the areas of civic space and social and fiscal accountability.
