Seyha is a passionate person who willing to work and assist the team. Beside working for Oxfam, he is studying for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Economics and Finance.
Before joining Oxfam, he had 4 years of work experience in the Accounting and Finance department, produce financial reports, bank reconciliation, budget forecasting, and other relevant tasks which are given by his superiors.
He is currently providing backup support to the Mekong team and working closely with his line manager and other stakeholders to produce monthly financial report for the program. Also, he is taking responsibility for assisting his line manager on the budget plan, review budgets from other countries (such as Lao, Vietnam, Thai, and Myanmar), review payment requests which submit by the team.
Working with Oxfam, he has the chance to gain more experience, expand his knowledge about the greatest Mekong river, and contributes his help to and give back to society. He has learned about the importance of the Mekong River and the impact that affect the livelihood of the people live along the river.
"Since I was a child, I had a dream in which I wanted to work in a non-governmental organization (NGO) because I love to help people and give support to those who are in need. Even though I am not in the front-line position who go to the field and interact directly with people, I am glad that my work can contribute and provide backup support to my team. Therefore, they have enough time to work on other important issues," said Seyha.
