Daovone has an extensive experience on Civil Society Organizations strengthening in Lao PDR through facilitating capacity development and promote constructive dialogues. He believes an open space for an inclusive voice will lead to accountability and a just for everyone. As being born from a farmer family, he witnesses damages and losses from climate change impact in agriculture and livelihood. Hence, farmers Must be strengthened to be more resilient to the threat. Based in Laos, Daovone manages a Strengthening Climate Resilience project, implemented in 4 Mekong countries. His key role is to ensure achieving of a greater impact of the project that strengthens capacity of communities and local authorities to cope with climate change impact and related hazards.
