Lan Ha is Water Governance Thematic Lead at Oxfam. With more than 15 years of experience, he works on climate-resilient water governance, sustainable agriculture, and ecosystem-based adaptation across the Mekong region and Asia. His work focuses on bridging science, policy, and practice to advance inclusive, nature-based, and data-informed approaches to water security and resilience. He holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, and an MSc in Water Management from Université Côte d’Azur in France.
At Oxfam, Lan Ha is inspired by the opportunity to use his expertise in water governance to contribute to something larger: fairness, inclusion, and positive change for communities facing climate and development challenges. What he values most about Oxfam is its strong commitment to social justice and to ensuring that the voices of those most affected. This gives real meaning to technical work and motivates him to promote water solutions that are not only effective, but also inclusive, locally grounded, and lasting.
