Experienced social worker with a demonstrated humanitarian passion and history of working in the community development industry, Cheth started with Oxfam as a Grant Officer in late 2013 and was entrusted to be Resilience Program Coordinator in early 2016. Nonwithstanding the organizational restructuring in 2019, Cheth remains with Oxfam and is now a Contract Manager of the Fair Finance Asia (FFA) Program.

Women Economic Empowerment (WEE)

Cheth believes that the participation of women in the agricultural value chains via private sector engagement is a prominent catalyst in gender equality and equity in Cambodia. "I want to see women the acknowledgement that women are fully participating economic actors by independently gain access to and control over productive resources", said Cheth.

Being an Agent of Change via Oxfam

Being proud to be part of Oxfamily, Cheth said he is proud of his lasting contribution to the society throughout his work and daily life where all kinds of people's dignity are promoted.

"With FFA program, I am delighted to work with many talented and energetic people including Oxfam employee and partners across the region to increase adequate financial services for pro-poor and inclusive economic development by reducing the negative impact of national and cross-border bank investments in Asia on human rights, environment and climate change."
