Jyotiraj Patra

Raj is part of the Oxfam water governance team and leads the Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) project. He is trained by Partnership Brokers Association (PBA) and has previously worked in knowledge brokering and advisory roles with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the United Nations.
TROSA is a regional project working with communities, the private sector, governments, and civil society to promote more inclusive river water governance in the transboundary river basins of Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM) and the Salween. Passionate about women-and-youth-led initiatives that foster participation, partnership, and innovation, he believes TROSA will play an instrumental role in bringing about long-lasting solutions in transboundary water governance in South Asia.
