Ratha is an accomplished community development professional dedicated to advancing social change, addressing climate challenges, and tackling inequality and poverty. He holds a Master’s degree in International Community Development from Victoria University, Australia, and brings over a decade of experience leading projects in livelihood, financial literacy, mine action, sustainable finance, and just energy transition.

Over the past ten years, Ratha has worked with international none-profit organizations across Australia, Bangladesh, Bougainville, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Pakistan, Solomon Islands, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. His extensive regional experience has equipped him with strong cross-cultural skills and expertise in project administration, grant and budget management, reporting, government and donor liaison, and digital systems.

Ratha said he is committed to ensuring that Cambodia’s energy transition is inclusive, fair, and equitable. He believes that integrating environmental, social, and economic considerations into energy planning is essential to combating climate change and achieving sustainable development for all.
