St Patrick’s Day

Ireland’s National Day, St Patrick’s Day, is marked annually in Ireland on 17 March, and has grown into a worldwide celebration of Irish culture and heritage. To mark St Patrick’s Day, Irish Government ministers travel abroad each year on official visits to recognise and promote Ireland’s bilateral relations, and to connect with Irish communities and partners of Ireland across the globe. Minister of State Mr Noel Grealish T.D.’s official visit to Cambodia 17-20 March highlights the growing friendship and cooperation between Ireland and Cambodia.

Ireland’s Development Cooperation in Cambodia
Ireland is a longstanding development partner for Cambodia. Under the Embassy of Ireland’s Mission Strategy 2023 – 2027, Ireland has scaled up its development cooperation programmes in Cambodia, with a particular focus on increasing engagements with partners and deepening Ireland’s impact across the country in a number of key priority areas such as humanitarian mine action, nutrition, education and climate action.
